Dave Koch started K&J Trucking in 1979 with the dream of becoming one of the industry’s top refrigerated carriers. Working together with his family, this dream became a reality.

A Better Way of Doing Things

Dave Koch started K&J because he believed there was a better way of doing things, and we hang on to this principle today. When asked why we do something, we strive to never have the answer be "because that is the way we have always done it."

We are always working to better our company, our team members, and the trucking industry in general. When we hear problems and suggestions from our drivers and customers, we dig deeper into the issues to find a better solution. If that means actively advocating for trucker rights and working with local and national legislators, then we will be there.

At the end of the day, we are driven by what is best for our drivers and the industry, not our pocketbook.
